🏭 Building Your Economy
Now let's learn how to build and upgrade things to grow your empire!
How to Build
- Click on an empty field on your planet
- Choose what you want to build from the menu
- If you have enough resources, click "Build"
- Wait for the construction to finish!
Upgrading Buildings
Buildings can be upgraded to higher levels. Higher level = more production!
A Level 5 Titanium Mine produces way more than a Level 1.
The first levels are cheap and fast. Higher levels cost more and take longer.
Your First Buildings
Here's a good order to build when you're starting:
- Solar Power Plant (to level 2)
- Titanium Mine (to level 2)
- Solar Power Plant (to level 3)
- Graphene Mine (to level 2)
- Keep alternating between energy and mines!
Storage Buildings
Your resources can only pile up to a certain limit. When storage is full, production stops!
Build Storage buildings to increase how much you can hold.
You don't need storage right away. Build it when you notice your resources hitting the cap.
Missiles & Missile Silo
Missiles are a special weapon system that let you attack enemy defenses from a distance, or intercept incoming missiles!
The Missile Silo
Before you can build any missiles, you need a Missile Silo. This building stores both offensive and defensive missiles.
Silo Capacity
Each Silo level gives you capacity for 10 missiles total.
- Silo Level 1 = 10 missiles
- Silo Level 2 = 20 missiles
- Silo Level 5 = 50 missiles
- Silo Level 10 = 100 missiles
Interplanetary Missiles (Attack) take up 1 slot each. Anti-Ballistic Missiles (Defense) also take 1 slot each. They share the same storage!
Types of Missiles
Building Missiles
Missiles are built differently from ships - you build them from the Missile Silo building!
- Click on your Missile Silo building
- Select which type of missile you want (IPM or ABM)
- Enter how many you want to build
- Click "Build" - they're added instantly if you have resources!
Sending Interplanetary Missiles
IPMs let you destroy enemy defenses before you attack with your fleet!
- Click on your Missile Silo
- Go to the "Launch Attack" or "Send Missiles" section
- Enter the target coordinates (enemy planet)
- Select how many missiles to send
- Choose a primary target (which defense type to hit first)
- Click "Launch" - missiles travel instantly!
- IPMs cannot be recalled once launched!
- Each IPM has limited destructive power - bigger defenses need more missiles
- Enemy Anti-Ballistic Missiles will intercept your IPMs (1 ABM stops 1 IPM)
- You can only target planets within your missile range
Missile Range
Your missiles can only reach targets within a certain distance!
Range Formula: (Impulse Drive Level × 5) - 1 solar systems
- Impulse Drive Level 1 = 4 systems range
- Impulse Drive Level 5 = 24 systems range
- Impulse Drive Level 10 = 49 systems range
Defending with Anti-Ballistic Missiles
ABMs are your defense against enemy missiles. They work automatically!
- Automatic: ABMs intercept incoming missiles automatically
- 1 for 1: Each ABM destroys exactly one incoming IPM
- Priority: ABMs are used before enemy missiles hit your defenses
If you have valuable defenses (like Plasma Turrets or Shield Domes), keep some ABMs stored to protect them from missile attacks!
